Enloe Health Seeking Nominations for 2024 Physician Legacy Award

CHICO, Calif., Oct. 1, 2024 – Community members are invited to submit nominations for Enloe Health’s 2024 Physician Legacy Award. Enloe has presented the award since 2004 to doctors whose dedication and contributions have made a lasting impact.
Nominations are due by Oct. 25 at 11:59 p.m. and can be submitted at www.enloe.org/legacy. The Enloe Health Medical Executive Committee, which consists of physician leaders, will select this year’s recipient based on nominations. The winner will be honored at the General Medical Staff meeting in December.
“Our institution relies on the hard work and dedication of our physicians,” said Sean Maiorano, D.O., the Chief Medical Officer at Enloe Health. “The Physician Legacy Award recognizes doctors who have shown ongoing dedication to excellence and quality, as well as commitment to improving our health care system.”
A nominated doctor should be:
- A respected physician whose leadership at Enloe Health and in the community, both locally and at large, has changed our world for the better
- A physician who has been a member of the medical staff for more than 10 years and has privileges at Enloe Health
- A physician with excellent clinical knowledge and skill
Previous recipients are not eligible.
