Enloe Health Medical Center Ranked Among America’s 250 Best Hospitals for Fourth Year in a Row
CHICO, Calif., Jan. 25, 2024 – Enloe Health Medical Center was named one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals for clinical excellence by Healthgrades for the fourth consecutive year. The ranking places Enloe Health within the top 5% of hospitals in the United States. Healthgrades, an online health platform, advocates for consumers in their search for hospitals, doctors or treatments.

To determine the top hospitals for 2024, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for more than 30 conditions and procedures at about 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Healthgrades ratings are based entirely on patient outcomes.
The 2024 Healthgrades analysis revealed significant variation in hospital performance, making it increasingly important to seek care at top-rated programs. From 2020 through 2022, if all hospitals, as a group, performed similarly to America’s 250 Best Hospitals, on average, 178,402 lives could have been saved.*
