  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Body aches
  • Headaches
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • A sore throat

COVID-19 Explained

COVID-19 causes fever, cough and shortness of breath. Older adults and those with chronic medical conditions are at higher risk.

The best way to prevent the spread of the illness and other respiratory diseases is to:

  • Get vaccinated. Make your appointment.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water often.
  • Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home if you are sick.
