- And medications
Please note that Enloe Health provides many complex services, which are reimbursed at a variable rate. This means that the reimbursement is dependent on many factors, including:

- And other factors
The charges on this list may not reflect what you will actually pay. Your care team will determine what services and treatments are necessary.
Your insurance plan, co-pays, deductible and other factors will affect your out-of-pocket expenses. For this reason, you should not use our list to estimate your actual cost.
FAQs
What is the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regulation?
In 2021, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) began requiring that hospitals post a machine-readable file containing gross charges, discounted cash prices, payer-specific negotiated charges and de-identified minimum, and maximum negotiated charges.
At Enloe Health, we have been posting our prices online with the State of California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development for more than 10 years. In addition, price information is readily available at our facilities.
Does Enloe Health comply with the regulation?
Yes, Enloe Health complies with the regulation. We have a machine-readable file. Additionally, we are committed to helping our patients and their families make informed decisions about their care, including their out-of-pocket costs.
Our team of financial counselors are available. To speak to them about an estimate of your out-of-pocket expenses for a procedure or treatment, please call 530-332-6350.
Are these the prices I will actually be charged at Enloe Health?
Not necessarily. Your financial responsibility will depend on your insurance plan, coverage, deductibles, co-insurance and other factors.
Why do hospitals charge different prices?
There are no specific requirements or guidelines for how hospitals determine their prices. Because of this, some facilities might combine the charges of some line items, while others spell out each charge individually. Both approaches comply with federal regulations. Additionally, some hospitals, serve as tertiary or trauma hospitals, so other hospitals send patients who require more specialized care to those hospitals. This can result in higher charges.
