Internships
Internships at Enloe Health provide many opportunities. Interns can explore a career interest, develop skills and gain experience in the health care industry.
However, our internship options are limited due to the confidential and sensitive nature of work performed at Enloe. Clinical internships are coordinated through your school.
If you’re interested in an internship here, an Enloe Health department must first accept you before you can begin the process for your paperwork. Unfortunately, we are unable to place every intern request due to the number of students interested in internships.
If you have a contact at Enloe, reach out to that caregiver. Often times, that is the best place to begin looking for placement. You can also contact a school adviser for help with placement.

For privacy reasons, we are unable to provide internships or shadowing in our Behavioral Health Unit, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Emergency departments.
Our Laboratory accepts phlebotomy interns from the following programs only:
- Bay Area Medical Academy
- Butte County ROP
- Boston Reed College
(California State University, Chico refers Clinical Lab Science students only.)
