Jonathan Cruz, Care Coordinator Nurse

“As a new immigrant from the Philippines, I came here with limited work experience. Enloe provided me with the training and support necessary to enhance my knowledge and become competent in my field of practice. Enloe trained, embraced and took me as her own.

“It’s a privilege and a blessing to belong to an organization that truly values and prioritizes the welfare, safety, and health of the community it serves. I can’t see myself working anywhere else. Chico is my community. Enloe is my home.”

Lindsay Hannan, Lead Social Worker

“What’s meaningful to me about working at Enloe Health is the opportunity to promote genuine human connection with the patients we serve and the colleagues I support as the HomeCare and Hospice lead social worker.

“This profession elevates advocacy, ethics and collaboration. These tenets drive my approach with the patients and team I strive diligently to support.

“Working alongside these teams makes the many aspects of my job worthwhile, helping to balance the emotionally charged parts of this care and making this work sustainable.”

Carl Conserve, Orthopedic Technician II

“What’s meaningful to me about working at Enloe is not the reputation or pay but getting to support people of diverse ages, races and socioeconomic backgrounds in my work.

“It’s deeply rewarding hearing patients or their loved ones say I made a positive impact during one of their most overwhelming experiences.

“Something as simple as a genuine smile can help people through a traumatic event. These moments of mutual love and appreciation between patients and caregivers are priceless.”

Lisa Pizzo

Lisa Pizzo, Clinic Patient Coordinator

“Working for Enloe is extremely meaningful to me. I feel like I am working for our community. Working as a new patient coordinator for Women’s Services allows me to assist the women in our community.

“I look forward to coming to work every day! There is nothing better than loving what you do.”
