Our pregnancy care has garnered numerous awards. Enloe Health Medical Center was the first hospital in Butte County named a Baby-Friendly hospital. This means our caregivers provide families with the skills they need for the best feeding and bonding results.

Recently, Enloe Health was also named to the California Health & Human Services Agency and Cal Hospital Compare Honor Roll for Maternity Care, Opioid Stewardship, and Patient Safety. Enloe Health is one of just nine hospitals in California that have met performance standards for all three honor rolls.

Pregnancy loss is often unexpected and devastating, and families experiencing this loss need support in a variety of ways. Enloe Health’s Forever Loved program is designed to help families through the difficult process of having a miscarriage or stillborn child.

Our team of caregivers is trained to care for those who are suffering from pregnancy loss-related issues and provide resources to help families heal. Caregivers are educated on how to care for grieving families and are able to provide heartfelt keepsakes such as hand and footprints.

When families return home after experiencing pregnancy loss, caregivers will periodically follow up over the next few weeks to check in on family members’ mental and physical well-being. Throughout the following year, families will receive letters and other helpful resources for ongoing support during different stages of grief.
