Denise Adams is the Dean of Instruction, Career Education at Butte College, where she has worked since 2007. She administers and supervises educational programs and has oversight over the selection, management, and evaluation of academic, management and classified staff.
Denise has worked in health care since 1985 in clinical and educational settings. She has expertise in leadership, quality improvement, outcomes management, case management and utilization management.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing from California State University, Chico. She holds licenses as a registered nurse, clinical nurse specialist and public health nurse. Her professional affiliations include Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nursing, Kappa Omicron Chapter; Association of California Nurse Leaders; Association of California Community College Administrators; California Community College Association for Occupational Education; and CSU, Chico, Alumni Association.
Denise is an elder at Bidwell Presbyterian Church. Her service on the Enloe Health Board of Trustees began Jan. 1, 2015, and she is Vice Chair of the quality committee.
