I have been an Enloe Health volunteer since 2005, mainly working in the Gift Shop and Warehouse. I have also served on the Volunteer Board several times, including as President. I was born and raised in England, immigrated to the USA in 1974 and married my long-time American boyfriend! There is a good story about this but not the space to tell it. I worked in banking for 27 years and retired as vice president in 2004. Before I moved to the USA, I was an officer in the British Army for 11 years. I retired as a Captain in 1974. I have been an American citizen for many years now and am a happy Chico resident since 1981.
