Stephen Pearce, M.D., 2022 Physician Legacy Award Recipient
Since 2004, Enloe Health has presented the Physician Legacy Award to a physician whose body of work — in and outside the profession — has created a lasting impact, a real legacy.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination for the 2024 Physician Legacy Award. Nominations are now closed, and a winner will be announced at the General Medical Staff meeting in December.

Enloe is fortunate to have a talented, giving and dedicated medical staff. We value honoring those who give so much to our community.
Criteria for Selection
When nominating a caregiver for the Physician Legacy Award, that person should be:
- A respected physician whose leadership at Enloe and in the community, both locally and at large, has changed our world for the better
- A physician who has been a member of the medical staff for more than 10 years and has privileges at Enloe Health
- A physician with excellent clinical knowledge and skill
Please note that previous recipients are not eligible.
