Internships
Description
Internships are intended to allow students an opportunity to learn about healthcare professions. Interns will perform a limited range of duties within the medical center as agreed upon by the department(s).

How To Apply
Complete the request form located below and download the required documents. Turn in all the required documents to the Human Resources Department, located at 1625 Magnolia (corner of 6th and Magnolia) or fax to (530) 893-6846 along with a photo ID. Once all documents are received, the Recruiting office will submit your request to the department and they will contact you if they are able to accomodate your request or not.
* Please note we are unable to guarantee internship placements. However in order to submit your request to the department; we must have all the above requirements met.
Notes:
- If interested in working with a Physician please contact the physician’s office directly for this request.
- Our Dietary and Nutrition Department does not except interns, they do accept volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering please contact our Volunteer Department at 530-332-4575.
- Our Laboratory only accepts phlebotomy interns from these three programs:
- Butte County ROP, Ja'Onna's School & Boston Reed College
(CSU Chico only refers Clinical Lab Science students)
- Due to the sensitivity of our patients we are unable to provide internships or shadows in our Surgery and Emergency Department Services.
