Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals restore,
maintain and promote optimal physical function, wellness, fitness
and quality of life as it relates to movement and health. Physical
Therapists analyze and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical
performance and functional ability. They use interventions and instruct
individuals in methods to prevent the onset of symptoms, the progression
of impairments, the decrease in functional limitations and any disabilities
that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions or injuries.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals

the "skills for the job of living" necessary for independent
and satisfying lives. Occupational Therapists design and customize
treatment programs to improve individuals' ability to perform the
activities needed to function throughout their day.
Occupational Therapy benefits individuals of all ages and with
a variety of physical and mental problems, including those who have:
- Limitations following a stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal
cord injury or amputations
- Recovery from surgical procedures, burns and multiple traumas

Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy is skilled treatment that assists patients in regaining
their ability to communicate, swallow and function safely and independently
in their own environment. Speech Therapists analyze and treat swallowing
disorders. They help individuals improve their communication skills
whether by voice or alternative devices or methods, and provide
retraining in cognition and language. Cognition and language are
the ability to understand and follow directions, to convey ideas
and to understand the information we receive in writing and verbally
from others. Family training is provided to enhance the ability
to understand and care for those with speech, language, and swallowing
disorders.

Rehabilitation Nursing
Our acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Center staffs nurses 24-hours
a day. The trained rehabilitation nurses provide expert care while
giving comfort and support. In addition to assessing and treating
the patient's medical condition, the Rehab Nurses emphasize patient
and family education. They also enhance the patient's progress by
reinforcing the teaching and training provided by the others on
the rehabilitation team.
Rehab Nurses provide education in the areas of:
- The process of a disease or condition
- Bladder and bowel retraining and management
- Managing medications
- Proper skin care techniques

Recreation Therapy
Recreation Therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals
use leisure activities in ways that enhance their health, functional
abilities, independence and quality of life. Recreation Therapy
