CHICO, Calif., April 14, 2014 – Enloe Medical Center currently has one patient remaining from Thursday's bus accident in Orland, Calif. The patient is in fair condition. To date, 10 of the 11 patients received at Enloe from this incident have been discharged. We strongly urge that members of the media allow privacy and time to heal for all involved.

CHICO, Calif., April 12, 2014 – Enloe Medical Center currently has two inpatients remaining from Thursday's bus accident in Orland, Calif. Both are in fair condition. Since Thursday, nine of the 11 patients received at Enloe have been discharged. We strongly urge that members of the media allow our patients time to heal and respect their privacy.

Friday 4:10 p.m. PT update

CHICO, Calif., April 11, 2014 – Enloe Medical Center currently has three inpatients remaining from Thursday's bus accident in Orland, Calif. All are in fair condition. No further patients are expected to be discharged today. Since Thursday, eight of the 11 patients received at Enloe have been discharged. We recognize that media interest in patient and family interviews is very high. We have relayed these requests. At this time, patients have declined media interviews. We strongly urge that members of the media allow our patients time to heal and respect their privacy.

Friday 10:30 a.m. PT update

CHICO, Calif., April 11, 2014 – The two patients who were critical condition at Enloe Medical Center after Thursday's bus accident in Orland, Calif., have been upgraded. They are now in serious condition. Three patients remain in fair condition; and six have been discharged.

CHICO, Calif., April 11, 2014 – The condition of the patients from the scene of the bus accident on I-5 in Orland, Calif., on Thursday, has not changed. Of the 11 patients that Enloe Medical Center received, two remain in critical condition; four are in fair condition; and five have been discharged.

Friday: 2 a.m. PT update

CHICO, Calif., April 11, 2014 – Enloe Medical Center received a total of 11 patients from the scene of the tragic bus accident on I-5 in Orland, Calif., on Thursday. As of 2 a.m. on Friday, two of the patients are in critical condition; four are in fair condition; and five have been discharged. All of the patients were passengers.

Thursday: 8:30 p.m. PT update

CHICO, Calif., April 10, 2014 – Enloe Medical Center has received five patients from the scene of the tragic bus accident on I-5 in Orland, Calif., as of 8 p.m. PT. One patient is in critical condition, two have moderate injuries and two have minor injuries. All of the five patients were passengers on the bus. Four additional patients are in route to the medical center.


Enloe Medical Center staff is currently working to contact the families of the patients. Other patients from the scene are being directed to other area hospitals.
