Enloe to host “The High Personal Cost of American Drugs” panel discussion June 11

CHICO, Calif., MAY 29, 2013 – Internationally recognized speaker Donald Light, PhD, will be the featured speaker at “The High Personal Cost of American Drugs,”  a panel discussion with two local health care professionals on June 11 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Enloe Conference Center. This free event, moderated by Enloe Medical Center CEO/President Mike Wiltermood, is open to the public.


Along with the featured speaker, panelists will be clinical pharmacist Danny Abifadel, PharmD, and Hematologist/Oncologist David Potter, MD, both of Chico. Abifadel and Dr. Potter will describe how Enloe Medical Center and local patients are affected by the policies and practices of the American pharmaceutical industry.

 

The event will conclude with an open discussion among the panelists and the audience, as well as an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
