Enloe Medical Center’s volunteer musicians auditions set for May 5

CHICO, Calif., April 28, 2011 – Enloe Medical Center is seeking volunteer musicians who are interested in enhancing the patient and visitor experience by sharing their gift of music with Enloe’s patients, visitors and staff. Interested individuals may audition on Thursday, May 5 at
5:30 p.m. in the Enloe Conference Center, 1528 Esplanade, Room 106. Please call Enloe Volunteer Services at (530) 332-4575 or e-mail volunteers@enloe.org to sign up for auditions.

Since 2008, the mission of the Music for Healing Program has been to serve Enloe Medical Center through volunteer musicians who provide live music at Enloe. The program aims to enhance patients’ healing process by creating a pleasing and relaxing environment for patients, visitors and staff. These musicians have the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life by doing what they love.

Enloe Medical Center is expanding its Music for Healing Program and seeks excellent musicians who are committed to giving a true gift of their music to those who have great need.
